    Event Description:
    The Commission on Economic Opportunity, the "People Helping People" organization, has begun their annual Thanksgiving Project registration.  Wyoming County residents interested in receiving a traditional Thanksgiving food basket may register in person or by phoning 570-836-7391 between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm and 1:00pm and 4:00pm.  The CEO office is located in the Wyoming County Human Services Building, 819 Joseph W. Hunter Highway, Tunkhannock, PA  18657.  Registration deadline is November 17, 2017. 
    The Annual Thanksgiving Project is conducted in partnership with CEO's Weinberg Regional Food Bank.  The Weinberg Regional Food Bank fights hunger across Wyoming County by providing food to local partners for distribution. 
    Financial contributions make the Thanksgiving Project possible.  Donations can be mailed to:  CEO P.O. Box 74, Tunkhannock, PA  18657.  Food donations and volunteer help are also welcome.  Please call 570-836-7391 for more details.  A Wyoming County United Way Agency
